AWAM is a group of pastors and ministry leaders from the Williamsburg
area that meet monthly for fellowship, worship and prayer. We love and
honor Jesus Christ as our first priority and primary motivation. We
offer a place for ministers of different denominational or racial
backgrounds to get acquainted outside their normal ministry settings
and an opportunity to build relationships with each other.

The
AWAM group has an interest in the spiritual and social conditions of
the greater Williamsburg region. We realize that there is a spiritual
synergy when ministries and churches cooperate together for the
spiritual and social transformation of our community. Therefore, we
sponsor or participate in several events each year designed to serve as
a catalyst for that transformation.
These are challenging times that we are facing in America right now.
We have been there before as a nation. Revival and transformation are
often birthed out of desperate times. What a blessing that we can come
together and share with each other and pray for our needs and
appropriate the time to stand in the gap for our city and our nation.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will
I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
land.” ~ II Chronicles 7:14
